Limitations
Repair, modification, or alteration to any product outside the guidelines established by CS will result in immediate loss of warranty. Modification to the restoration “prep” site after fabrication has been started and before the restoration is permanently seated, may result in additional charges should those modifications be deemed contributory to product failure. No credit or replacement will be provided for a defective product unless and until the said product is returned to CS. Dental restorations must be seated by a licensed, practicing dentist in a clinical setting.
Return of Goods
Dental restorations returned to CS for defects in workmanship or materials are subject to inspection prior to determination of warranty applicability. CS asserts “first right of repair” on any returned dental restoration, and as such, no credit will be issued in the event that a third-party dental laboratory is contracted to repair or remake a case before CS has been notified and provided the option to repair said dental restoration.
Remake Policy
Remakes charges will apply under the following conditions:
- Customer re-preps the original case
- The originally manufactured restoration was not returned at the time of the remake
- The customer changes material from the original requested material
- If a remake is needed after the customer was contacted by the lab and the lab questioned whether the case materials provided were satisfactory and the customer approved completion of the case without making adjustments to the case materials or refused a try-in
- Customer requests a tooth shade different from the original tooth shade requested, the original must be returned and additional charges will be applied.
- Any partial/denture that fits the master but does not fit in the mouth, the amount of the remake charge will be determined based on the nature of the case.
